My name is Kylene, and I am a 26-year old wanna be Peace Corps volunteer! I currently work as a high school teacher teaching English and Leadership classes. I like what I do, but I feel that there is more out there I was meant to accomplish. I was born to help people and I’m ready to expand the capacities in which I do that.

I started my PC application process on Monday, May 17th and recently decided to track my progress, thoughts, decisions, frustrations, etc in a blog … go figure, an English teacher wanting to write 🙂

Here you will find a ton of information (probably more than you want to know) about me, the PC, and my journey to (hopefully) become a PC volunteer.

Thanks for the post Melissa! I’m hoping all works out as well because I’m kinda becoming attached to the idea of heading to the Pacific Islands! Hope things there are going well!
